Chelsea set Nicolas Jackson price tag as Victor Osimhen transfer terms clear

All eyes are on Chelsea as they face Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup final this weekend.

Enzo Maresca's men have navigated a challenging group stage, battled their way through knockouts and now all that stands in their way to claim victory at this inaugural revamp of the tournament are the reigning champions of Europe.

Regardless of the result the Club World Cup has seen the Blues take home a substantial amount of money, in excess of £80m.

That sum would be enough to purchase a top-of-the-range striker in today's market, for example, as a fresh debate is kicked up about Chelsea's options up front looking ahead to next season.

Joao Pedro played a dream full debut, scoring a brace against boyhood club Fluminense in the recent semi-final clash following his £55m switch from Brighton. At the Club World Cup Liam Delap, bought from Ipswich Town for £30m, has recorded his first goal and assist.

Whether Jackson stays or leaves the Blues, rumours about buying Victor Osimhen from Napoli won't go away until that situation is resolved. The Nigerian is of long-standing interest and still without a new permanent home.

That could change this summer as the Serie A champions entertain offers, though they aren't budging from their own asking price.
