There is good news for the youth who dream of a job in the police department in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced recruitment for a total of 1015 posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) and Platoon Commander. The online application process for this recruitment has started, and interested candidates can apply through the official website of RPSC rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or SSO portal. The last date of application has been fixed as 8 September 2025, so it is important to apply in time. Candidates can follow the steps given here for recruitment.
How many posts will be recruited?
Sub Inspector (AP) - 896 posts
Sub Inspector (AP) Saharia - 4 posts
Sub Inspector (AP) Scheduled Area - 25 posts
Sub Inspector (IB) - 26 posts
Platoon Commander (RAC) - 64 posts
Who can apply?
To apply in this recruitment, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute. Apart from this, knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and understanding of the culture of Rajasthan is also necessary.
Talking about age, the minimum age of the candidate should be 20 years, and the maximum age 25 years at the time of application. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules. Age will be calculated as of 1 January 2026.
Physical Qualification
Male candidates: Minimum height 166 cm, chest 81 cm without inflating and 86 cm with inflating.
Female candidates: Minimum height 152 cm and weight at least 47.5 kg.
This much application fee will have to be paid
Candidates will have to pay application fee to apply. General, Backward Classes (Creamy Layer) and Extremely Backward Classes (Creamy Layer) will have to pay a fee of Rs 600. While SC, ST, Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer), Extremely Backward Classes (Non Creamy Layer), EWS, Saharia and Primitive Tribes will have to pay a fee of Rs 400.
How to apply?
Step 1: First of all go to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or log in to sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
Step 2: Go to Citizen App (G2C) and select Recruitment Portal.
Step 3: If you have not done One Time Registration (OTR), then first complete the OTR process.
Step 4: After OTR, log in and go to the recruitment portal and fill the application form.
Step 5: Before submitting the application, check all the information thoroughly and pay the fee.
Step 6: After this the candidates should submit the application form.
