Under which interested candidates will now be able to do a PhD from IIMC from the upcoming academic session. Notification issued after the meeting of the Executive Council
The PhD rules in IIMC have been approved in the meeting of the Executive Council of the Institute. According to the information, the 151st meeting of the IIMC Executive Council was held on 9 May. The PhD rules have been finalized in the meeting held under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor.
IIMC is now a deemed university
IIMC is the country's leading journalism institute. Which was declared a deemed university only two years ago. After this, IIMC has also started post-graduation courses. In this episode, a decision has been taken by IIMC to conduct a PhD. Earlier, IIMC used to offer a PG Diploma course in Mass Communication and Journalism in the country, which was a one-year course. It is believed that a large number of students will benefit from the decision to start a PhD. There was a demand to start a PhD in IIMC for a long time.
