The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has fixed the deadline for filing the declaration for the Direct Tax Dispute to Vishwas Scheme 2024. If you are also a taxpayer and fall under the purview of this scheme, then you should file your declaration by 30 April 2025. CBDT has issued a circular regarding this deadline.
What is Dispute to Vishwas Scheme
CBDT has started the Dispute to Vishwas Scheme for the convenience of taxpayers, it is a government scheme, in which the ongoing disputes between the Income Tax Department and taxpayers will be resolved. In this scheme, taxpayers get a chance to settle their old tax disputes and avoid all kinds of legal maneuvers. By doing this, the Income Tax Department does not take any legal action against the taxpayers.
