Indian customers are most attracted to the iPhone with 128GB storage. This is about one-third of the total sales. The model with 256GB storage has a 24.4% share of the sales. While the sales of iPhones with 512GB and 1TB storage are not even 1%, they are even less than that. A spokesperson of Croma said that the figures show that iPhone buyers living in India are very intelligent. They want the Apple experience, but also keep their budget in mind. This is because the high sales of low-storage and normal models are proof of this.

Base models are sold the most.

Croma's data itself shows that the sales of the base model of iPhone in the Indian market are much higher than the Pro model. 86% of the total sales are of the non-Pro model. The share of the Pro model has been only 14%. Standard-size phones like iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16e accounted for more than 87% of sales. Apart from this, the Plus and Pro Max models with larger displays had a share of only 12.5% in sales. Indian buyers are buying affordable and normal-sized phones instead of expensive and big phones.

Most iPhones sold in this state

Among the states of India, Maharashtra led the iPhone sales. 25% of the buyers are from Maharashtra alone. After this, Gujarat stood second and third with 11% and Delhi with 10% share. iPhone demand is highest in western and northern India. One in every five iPhone buyers (20.5%) replaced their old iPhone and bought a new model. There are 17% of buyers who took AppleCare coverage to protect their phone. 20% of customers with iPhone 16 series and 14% with iPhone 15 chose the protection plan.
