Bihar Public Service Commission i.e. BPSC has issued recruitment of Assistant Engineers for 1024 posts. Applications have been sought for this. BPSC has said in the official notification that recruitment is to be done for the post of 1024 Assistant Engineers, in which engineers from many different branches are required. Engineers from all branches of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical are needed in this. Candidates will be appointed on the posts.

Candidates who want to join this recruitment can apply by visiting the official website of BPSC . Application forms will be filled from 30 April and its last date has been kept as 28 May 2025. Recruitment has been done for 984 posts of Civil Assistant Engineer, of which 324 posts are reserved for women. At the same time, a total of 36 posts of Mechanical Assistant Engineer have been released, out of which 8 are reserved for women. At the same time, recruitment has been done for only 4 posts for Electrical Assistant Engineers.

What is the educational eligibility?
If you want to apply in this recruitment of Assistant Engineer, then you must have an engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical from any university, institute recognized by AICTE. The degree should be of a regular full time course. Candidates should read the official notification carefully once before applying for the recruitment.

On the other hand, if we talk about the age limit for this recruitment, then the minimum age of application is 21 years which will be done on the basis of 1 August 2024. The age limit has been fixed according to different categories. The maximum age for men of general category has been kept at 37 years, however for reserved categories the maximum limit has been kept at 40 and 42 years.
