Aditya Dhar’s Baramulla has taken over Netflix ever since it released on November 7, 2025. The film has opened with rave reviews from both critics and fans alike, with many even stating that it left chills down their spines. The Manav Kaul starrer is only a new addition to Dhar’s highly impressive filmography.

While Dhurandhar is set to release, there is a positive pattern that the filmmaker is setting, one that could highly benefit his reputation within the Bollywood industry. The four projects that Dhar has primarily worked on were all massive hits, something that is rare to achieve.

Vicky Kaushal’s film was based on a real story. Both Yami Gautam’s Article 370 and Manav Kaul’s Baramulla are based on Kashmir and its issues. Gautam’s other film with Dhar, Dhoom Dhaam, focuses on women’s issues and how they are forced to hide their real selves from society but with a comedic twist.
