JSW MG Motor India has launched the updated, E20-compliant version of its popular Hector SUV, with prices starting from Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom. This move comes in compliance with the government's mandate that all petrol-powered vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025, must support E20 fuel - a blend of 20% ethanol and 80% petrol. Production for the E20-ready Hector commenced on March 31, 2025.

The company is also running a “Midnight Carnival” campaign, offering benefits worth up to Rs 4 lakh for buyers. These include an additional 2-year or 1 lakh km extended warranty over the standard 3-year package, plus two extra years of Roadside Assistance. The 2025 MG Hector continues to offer a choice between two engine options. The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit churns out 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque and is available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. The 2.0-litre diesel engine generates 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque but is offered only with a 6-speed manual.
The SUV comes in six trim levels: Style, Shine Pro, Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro, with configurations ranging from five to seven seats.
