According to the passenger, he booked an autorickshaw for an 11-kilometre trip across the city and was genuinely surprised when the driver chose to operate the fare meter — something many residents rarely experience. At the end of the ride, the displayed fare was just Rs 166, a refreshing change from the often exorbitant rates that locals frequently endure.
