Malayalam actor Bala has married for the third time, embarking on a new chapter of his life with relative Kokila from Chennai. The wedding ceremony was held today at the Kaloor Pavakulam temple in Ernakulam, according to to Mathrubhumi.com. This intimate event was attended by close relatives and friends, marking Bala’s third marriage. The decision to marry again comes after Bala's struggle with serious health issues, including a liver transplant.

Speaking to media, actor Bala reflected on this turning point, explaining that his focus has shifted to improving his well-being. With regular medication, a better diet, and proper rest, Bala said his health has significantly improved, allowing him to move forward more positively.

Bala mentioned that Kokila had expressed her desire to marry him from a young age, and the marriage fulfilled his ailing mother's wish, even though she could not attend the ceremony due to health challenges. Despite these hurdles, Bala shared his optimism about the marriage, emphasizing that both he and Kokila are happy and at peace with their decision.

Kokila hails from Tamil Nadu and reportedly does not know Malayalam. He underscored that having a supportive partner in Kokila gave him the strength to embrace life anew after the challenges he faced with his health.

Bala’s journey through marriage has been eventful. His first marriage was to singer Amrutha Suresh, with whom he has a daughter named Avantika. However, their relationship eventually ended in divorce. His second marriage, to Dr. Elizabeth, drew public attention, but the two had been living separately for some time, and their marriage was not legally registered, the report said.

Bala's legal troubles
The actor’s personal life has not been without controversy. Earlier this month, Bala was briefly arrested following a complaint filed by his first wife, Amrutha, but he was released on bail with conditions.

The conflict between actor Bala and his ex-wife Amrutha Suresh intensified when Bala accused her of preventing him from meeting their daughter, Avantika. However, the situation escalated further when Avantika released a video alleging that Bala had mistreated both her and her mother. In response, Bala posted his own video, stating that if his daughter no longer wished to have a relationship with him, he would not attempt to maintain contact with her.

Amrutha’s complaint against Bala also included concerns about the emotional impact of his social media posts on their daughter. Following these allegations, Bala and his manager were arrested from his residence in Kochi, marking a public and legal escalation of the family dispute.
