Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) on Tuesday introduced the 2025 Grand Vitara, starting at Rs 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom), with more safety features and new variant options. The updated SUV comes with six airbags as standard across all variants.
In a statement, the company said the updated version is in line with its focus on aligning products with evolving customer expectations. “By making six airbags standard and adding new premium features, we are enhancing the value proposition of our flagship SUV,” said Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
The company also launched a new Delta+ Strong Hybrid variant priced at Rs 16.99 lakh, expanding the Grand Vitara’s hybrid portfolio. The new Delta+ will join the Zeta+, Alpha+, and their respective optional trims. The hybrid models use a combination of a petrol engine and an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery.
Specifications
All models of the updated Grand Vitara now comply with E20 fuel standards, said the company. Standard safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) with Hill Hold Assist, front and rear disc brakes with ABS and EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and 3-point seat belts for all seats.
Interior upgrades include an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, electronic parking brake in 6AT variants, rear door sunshades, LED cabin lamps, and a PM 2.5 air purifier display. The updated Grand Vitara also gets new R17 alloy wheels and additional sunroof options in the Zeta and Alpha variants.
The SUV continues to be offered in three options—Strong Hybrid, Smart Hybrid, and ALLGRIP Select AWD—aimed at a broad customer base. Premium features such as a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and a Clarion sound system remain part of the package.
