Make an insect repellent spray.

You can make a natural spray from lemon peels, which is useful in repelling mosquitoes and insects. For this, cut 6 lemons and boil them in 4 cups of water and keep them covered overnight. In the morning, filter this water and fill it into a spray bottle. If you want, you can also add some mint leaves or a spoonful of liquid soap to it. Spray this spray on the plants, which will drive away insects, and the plants will bloom with freshness.

Make the soil nutritious.

Lemon peels can also improve the health of the soil. You can put them in the compost along with the wet waste of your kitchen. After 5–6 months, when they are completely rotten, spread the compost made from them around the plants. This will provide the soil with the necessary nutrients. If you do not have compost, then dry the peels, grind them, and mix them in the soil – this will also increase the strength of the soil.

Make liquid fertilizer
If you want to give liquid fertilizer to the plants, then soak lemon peels in water for 2 days. Then filter the water and pour it directly on the plants. The vitamins and minerals present in it help in the growth of the plants.

Attract butterflies
Lemon peels have a special kind of fragrance that butterflies like very much. You can fill the peels in small bowls and keep them in different places in the garden. This will attract butterflies to your garden and help pollinate the flowers.

Clean the tools
If your garden tools have become dirty, then they can be cleaned with lemon peels. Rub the peel on the tool and then wash it with water. Tools will start shining, and bacteria will also be reduced.
