How did she take care of her child while shooting?
Speaking to ANI, Rani Mukerji recalled the days of shooting for "Hichki" and shared her experience raising her daughter, Adira. She said, "When I did 'Hichki," Adira was 14 months old. I had to finish everything and go to shoot at a college in the city."

Balancing responsibilities while working
She further discussed balancing film shooting and family responsibilities. She said, "It took about two hours to get from my home in Juhu to the shooting location, and the traffic was heavy. So, I decided to leave at 6:30 a.m. after finishing everything for my daughter and start shooting. My first shot was at 8 a.m., and I'd finish everything between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. My crew was very organized, so I could finish shooting in those 6-7 hours. I'd be home by 3 a.m., before the city traffic picked up. That's how I did my film."

Working Hours Are Based on Mutual Understanding

Regarding working hours, Rani Mukerji said, “These things are in the news these days because people are probably discussing it outside. But it's a common practice in all jobs. I've also done things where I've worked for a few hours. If the producer doesn't mind, you don't do the film. So, that's also an option. No one is imposing anything on anyone.”

Does Rani Mukerji want to direct?
The actress was asked about her interest in directing. In response, she said, "You know, I always say never in this profession. I think the kind of person I am, I know when I'm ready to direct, or I know when that time will come. Right now, I don't think so. Right now, I'm very happy being an actress and directing."
