Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): MP and Chairman of the District Development and Monitoring Committee (Disha), Darshan Singh Chaudhary laid emphasis on timely and quality implementation of government schemes during a committee meeting held at the Collectorate on Thursday.
He directed officials to work with dedication, ensuring that beneficiaries receive the benefits of Central and State Government schemes without delays or complications.
MP Chaudhary reviewed key initiatives like Nal Jal Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, crop procurement, instructing departments to resolve pending issues swiftly. He called for the timely release of canal water, efficient sand distribution under Awas Yojana and action against illegal mining.
He also highlighted the importance of keeping MLAs informed about developmental work and urged a collaborative approach between public representatives and government officials.
Rajya Sabha MP Maya Narolia suggested verifying the background of employees at sand mining sites and called for better coordination with police. Discussions also covered rural encroachment, health check-ups for Amarnath pilgrims, and expediting payments to farmers facing technical issues.
Collector Sonia Meena and SP Gurkaran Singh attended the meeting with district committee members. MP Chaudhary reiterated the need for proactive governance and accountability to drive development in the region.
