When you join any government scheme, you are given the benefits available under that scheme. PM Vishwakarma Yojana is run by the Government of India, which was started last year. At present, a large number of people are associated with this scheme. Apart from training, there is a provision to give financial benefits in many other ways in this scheme.
Who can join the scheme?
Those who are garland makers, barbers, hammer and toolkit makers, cobbler/shoemakers, fishing net makers, if you are a sculptor, stone carvers, if you are goldsmiths, doll, and toy makers, stone breakers, washermen and tailors, basket/mat/broom makers, masons, boat makers, blacksmiths, lock makers, and weapon makers are eligible.
The benefits of joining the scheme are
When you join this PM Vishwakarma Yojana, you are given a few days of training. For this, you are given a stipend of Rs 500 daily till the training continues.
After joining the scheme, beneficiaries are also given Rs 15,000 so that they can buy a toolkit
People associated with the scheme can also take loans at affordable interest rates and without guarantee. In this, you are first given a loan of Rs 1 lakh and after repaying it, you can get an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh. You can start your own business with this loan.
