SBI Clerk Exam: State Bank of India (SBI) has fixed the pre-exam dates for Clerk Recruitment 2025 as 20, 21, and 27 September. Admit cards will be released on the SBI website 4-5 days before the exam.

SBI Clerk Exam Date 2025: There is great news for the youth dreaming of a government job. State Bank of India (SBI) has released the schedule for the recruitment examination for the posts of Junior Associate i.e. Clerk. According to the schedule released by the bank, the preliminary examination will be conducted on 20, 21 and 27 September 2025 at different centers across the country. A total of 6589 posts are to be recruited through this recruitment drive.
In this recruitment, candidates will have to go through three stages. First there will be a preliminary exam in which questions related to English language, numerical ability and reasoning will be asked. The exam will be of one hour and it will have 100 questions, for which a total of 100 marks have been set. After this there will be a main exam and finally the selected candidates will have to take a local language exam. The candidate will get the job only after being successful in these three stages.
When will I get the admit card?
If media reports are to be believed, the admit card for the preliminary examination will be released about four to five days before the exam date. That is, it is likely that candidates will be able to download their admit card anytime after September 15. The admit card will be available only on the official website of SBI and to download it, candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth. Keep in mind that without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center.
When was the notification issued?
The notification for this recruitment was released on 5 August 2025. The application process started from 6 August and continued till 26 August. A large number of candidates have applied for this recruitment.
Qualification & Age Limit
The minimum educational qualification for this recruitment was a graduate degree. The age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. However, OBC candidates were given age relaxation of 3 years, SC and ST category candidates were given age relaxation of 5 years and handicapped candidates were given age relaxation of up to 10 years.
You will have to pay this much application fee
Candidates from General, OBC and EWS categories had to pay an application fee of Rs 750, while SC, ST and Divyang categories were completely exempted from the fee.
Pattern of Exam
The preliminary exam will be conducted online. There will be separate time allotted for each section. Time management will be very important in the exam. After the preliminary exam, the result will be declared and then the date of the main exam will be announced.
