Rana Sanaullah said that if Donald Trump had not intervened, the situation between India and Pakistan could have turned into a terrible nuclear conflict.

Rana Sanaullah, special adviser to Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has told for the first time what was the atmosphere in the top leadership when India fired a missile on the Noorkhan airbase. Rana Sanaullah said that when the Brahmos missile fell on the Noorkhan airbase, there was an atmosphere of great fear in the top leadership and within 30-40 seconds it had to be decided whether this was a sign of a nuclear attack or not.
Pakistan's Noorkhan airbase is just a few kilometers away from the Pakistan Army headquarters in Rawalpindi. Islamabad is only 10 kilometers away from it. Talking to Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir, Rana Sanaullah said that when India attacked Noorkhan airbase with Brahmos missile and the missile fell on the airbase, the Pakistan leadership had only 30-40 seconds to find out whether the Brahmos missile coming was carrying any atom bomb or not.
If we had attacked due to misunderstanding, a nuclear war would have broken out, said Rana
Rana Sanaullah said, 'To decide in those 30 seconds that this is not there and to decide that this is an atomic bomb... you can understand how dangerous it was.' He said, 'Okay, I am not saying that they did not carry out a nuclear attack, that was not good, but if this kind of misunderstanding happens and such an attack (nuclear attack) happened here, or if there was a misunderstanding there and such an attack happened from there, then the whole world would have gone into a nuclear war and you can imagine the devastation that would have happened.'
Rana Sanaullah praises Trump
Rana Sanaullah also praised US President Donald Trump and said that if he had not intervened, the situation could have turned into a terrible nuclear conflict, so the role played by Trump should be analyzed impartially and the role he played should also be praised.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had also expressed the fear of nuclear attack
Before Rana Sanaullah, Pakistan People's Party chief and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had also talked about the fear of nuclear attack. However, India's stand on nuclear attack is clear and it follows the policy of no-first use.
Since the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan has been threatening nuclear war. Ever since the tension between India and Pakistan has increased afterthe Pahalgam terrorist attack, everyone from the Pak PM, Defense Minister, Foreign Minister to the Pak Army Chief have threatened nuclear war. However, India says that it is not afraid of Pakistan's threat of nuclear weapons and will take necessary steps to protect its people.
