Boots shoppers are racing to snap up an anti-ageing cream that’s been reduced by 75% in a flash deal. Customers have heaped praise on the formula, saying it left their skin ‘glowing’ and ‘looking younger’.
The deal comes as part of Boots’ popular weekly £10 Tuesday sale, which has seen the No7 treatment reduced by almost £30. Usually £39.95, the Pure Retinol, Vitamin C and SPF 30 Day Cream combines a triple threat of skincare’s most important ingredients, and has been reduced to £10 today only.
Launched in February last year, the product is touted as 'the first of its kind in the UK'. While most skincare routines recommend users opt for a cocktail of vitamin C and SPF in the day, followed by retinol in the evening, this No7 cream combines all three in a day-safe formula to help streamline skincare routines for those with hectic lifestyles, whilst still delivering visible results.

Ideal for those new to retinol, the cream is formulated with a slow-release encapsulated 0.1% retinol, making it safe for daytime use and works to reduce signs of ageing like fine lines, while evening out skin tone and reforming texture. It's been paired with skincare powerhouse vitamin C, to help shoppers achieve glowing, healthy-looking skin as well as SPF 30, to protect from sun damage, which is one of the leading causes of premature skin ageing.
No7 Science Credentialing Manager Dr Eleanor Bradley stated, "We know people can struggle with their skincare routines through lack of time or knowledge and that's why we wanted to provide a convenient solution that harnesses the power of Pure Retinol and Vitamin C, while also offering essential sun protection. No7 Pure Retinol, Vitamin C, and SPF 30 can help to achieve radiant, healthy-looking skin with just one product".
There are very few products that contain all of the 'magic three' skincare ingredients, but if people are on the hunt for products that will deliver similar results to the No7 duo, Medik8's Daily Radiance Vitamin C moisturiser boasts vitamin c and SPF 30 for £59, while their Crystal Retinal starts at £45.
Alternatively, Facetheory's Retinol Firming Moisturiser 0.2% includes retinol and vitamins C and E for £16. THe brand also has a Glow-C Daily Moisturiser SPF 30, which costs £20.
But for those who want to save a bit of money, time and shelf space, the No7 Pure Retinol, Vitamin C and SPF 30 Day Cream is a standout choice. The product has amassed a 4.2-star rating based on over 450 customer reviews, with one shopper stating: "Absolutely love this cream. My skin is glowing. I've been using this along with the nighttime retinol cream for 2 weeks and I've noticed a noticeable difference with lines around my eyes and forehead."
Another said: "This duo has completely transformed my skin. I've been using it every day for the last 5 weeks, my skin is brighter, glowing and looks so much younger. My husband even noticed my skin being more even! Complete 10 all around! This is my new fav product of all time No7."
Another satisfied customer shared: "I have found a real difference in my skin. I'm 62 and live in the wild Shetland Islands so this cream had a challenge! My complexion looks much brighter, plumper and glowing which I'm delighted about. My wrinkles appear reduced as well. Another massive plus. The cream itself has a lovely texture. The design of the duo pot is very clever. The cream easily absorbs, so waiting for that to happen before applying the SPF isn't an issue at all. I will happily recommend this and even more, continue to use it."
However, one shopper left a three-star review over the 'sticky' texture of the SPF in the cream, writing: "Had this a few weeks now like the moisturiser but not keen on the sun protection felt it was a little thick and made my face feel sticky."
A further five-star review read: "Lovely product. I'm so impressed with how much brighter my skin looks and even my fine lines are less noticeable. It is easy to apply and non-greasy. All in all I love it and with the added bonus of the great spf, I will continue to use it."
The product has seen a dramatic price cut, but those wanting to try it out for less will have to be quick, as the flash £10 Tuesday sale will only run until midnight tonight before going back up to full price. It's the only place customers can get the deal, with the Boots-exclusive product priced at £23.97 on the No7 site.
