Cardiff City's Championship match against Stoke City was postponed for over 10 minutes after a medical emergency in the stands. The score was tied at 0-0 when the match was stopped in the 35th minute.
Home supporters called for help after a fan suffered a medical emergency in the Ninian Stand. The match was paused, with the players initially staying on the pitch before they were then sent back to the changing rooms while medical staff continued to work.
posted on X: "Play stopped at the moment. Calls from the crowd for medical support in the Ninian Stand, which has swiftly made its way across." The club then added: "The players have left the pitch for the time being and returned to the dressing rooms. We'll update further as soon as possible."

After a delay of around 10 minutes, an announcement was made to say that the players would come back and have a five-minute warm-up before resuming the match.
The fan was carried from the stands on a stretcher to be taken to hospital, with News' Matt Murray reporting that they were sat up and conscious.
Supporters had been told to remain in their seats and were respectful of the medical professionals who attended to the ill fan. Both clubs praised the medical teams who were quickly on the scene.
Cardiff then wrote on X: "Emergency services are taking the unwell person to hospital. Incredible work from you all. All of our love and thoughts are with you, Bluebird."
Stoke added: "Most importantly, we send our prayers and best wishes to the supporter who has received treatment from both clubs' medical staff and paramedics. The players have returned to the field for a five-minute warm-up before play resumes here."
The match resumed with 12 minutes added on in first-half stoppage time. The game is of huge significance to both clubs as they battle relegation from the Championship.
Cardiff started the day in 22nd place, sitting in the drop zone on goal difference, while Stoke are two points better off in 19th place.
