star was rushed to hospital for surgery as his friend asked fans for prayers. In a photo shared to social media, Nick was seen lying in a hospital bed in intensive care as he gave the camera a thumbs up. The Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels actor was also wearing a neck brace.
Pal Terry Stone told fans on social media: "News update for you all on Nick Moran. He’s had major surgery and is recovering in the ICU he’s giving us the thumbs up but still needs your support, prayers & love. Let’s pray he fully recovers and is be back to normal soon."
He added: "We did a fantastic podcast together a few months back. Nick is very private and isn’t on social media he did ours as an exclusive & you can all tune in to watch us together this Sunday at 6pm. If there are any further updates on Nick I will let you all know in the live chat this coming Sunday."
Terry, who appeared in Get Lucky, Once Upon a Time in London and more, didn't specify why Nick underwent surgery.
Fans and friends rushed to the comment section to wish him a speedy recovery. DJ and producer Tom Zanetti wrote: "Wishing strength and quick recovery."

One fan wrote: "Sending all my love and wishes for his speedy recovery," and another posted: "Looks and sounds positive so fingers crossed Nick will be bouncing about real soon."
Another added: "Please pass on my healing thoughts & love and a speedy recovery Terry," while one fan commented: "Get well soon Eddy.. keep fighting the good fight."
Nick, 55, is best known for his roles in Guy Ritchie's hit movie, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and as Scabior in and the Deathy Hallows.
He also appeared in Another Life, The Musketeer, Nemesis, Boogie Man, and New Blood. The star also had roles in Inside No. 9, By Any Means, Death in Paradise, Babs, The Bill, Casualty and Born to Shine. He was also a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef and Richard Osman's House of Games.
The star grew up on east London and made his first hit film appearance in 1990 alongside Roger Daltrey and Chesney Hawkes in Buddy's Song.
His first lead role was in the same year in Vera Neubauer's Don't Be Afraid.
