However, just before the closing credits rolled after episode 10's Showdowns and Sparkles, viewers were presented with a title card that simply stated: "In memory of Todd Giroux".
Understandably, fans have been wondering who Giroux was and his connection to My Life With the Walter Boys, so here's everything you need to know about the departed industry figure.
Todd Giroux was a producer who had worked on several major television programmes over the past decade, including Animal Control, Murder in a Small Town, Warrior Nun, Van Helsing and The Order.
The Netflix sensation paid tribute to the late 51 year old who died in July 2025, having served as an associate producer on My Life With the Walter Boys' inaugural series.
Beyond producing, Giroux also contributed to countless editorial departments and boasted 59 production manager credits to his name.
His obituary states: "Todd was a gifted post producer, supervisor, and producer.
"Humble about his many accomplishments, he founded his own business, Robot Post Media Services Inc., where he quietly built an impressive body of work.
"His talent earned him 11 nominations and 11 wins across the industry.
"He worked on major productions for Netflix, Showcase, and Amazon...Todd will be remembered for his warmth, creativity, dry wit, and his unwavering love for family, animals, the many students, coworkers, and friends whose lives he touched.
"He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered always."
The exact circumstances of Giroux's death remain unclear, but Canadian screenwriter and director Simon Barry took to Instagram at the time to pay a heartfelt tribute to Giroux.
He emotionally revealed that his colleague and friend passed away "suddenly and shockingly".
Barry went on to say: "He left a gaping void in the tv/film industry and my heart.
"I don't know anyone who was more respected and loved, and that's exactly how I felt about him.
"Sending love to @sheilagiroux and Todd's family and friends who will all be missing his humour, playfulness, joy and unwavering support through work and life."
My Life With the Walter Boys is available to stream on Netflix.
