It was a huge night in Love Island tonight, as Dejon told his girlfriend Meg he loved her after meeting the family, but some fans aren't convinced.
After making Meg his girlfriend in earlier episodes, tonight,Dejon took it one step further, telling her he loved her. Taking her up to the terrace, Dejon said: "My heart feels so safe with you. Speaking to my mum today, it was good reassurance to what I already knew.
"The past few days, probably even longer, I've had this feeling when I look at you. It's such a big thing, but honestly, I do love you," he said. Meg looked ecstatic as she exclaimed: "I love you too!"

Some fans grew suspicious of Dejon's declaration of love, after Meg's family told her they didn't see the pair expressing their love towards one another.
The parents later said the pair were "too serious" asking whether they have fun and crack jokes between each other. Elsewhere, Meg's family crucified Dejon's "flirty behaviour," and told her she let him get off too lightly.
Now, some fans the comments from last nights episode prompted him to drop the all important L-Bomb.
Taking to X, formerly known asTwitter one fan was convinced they'd spotted a pattern in Dejon's behaviour. "Something negative happens. Dejon: Lets go exclusive Something negative happens," the wrote.
"Dejon: Will you be my girlfriend Something negative happens. Dejon: I love you," as another agreed: "Because dejon was told again there’s no visual spark he has to pull out the I love you bag!"
Another agreed: "dejon def abt to come in with the ‘i love you’ to try and seal him and meg as winners after the shambolic meet the parents LOOOOL nice try," with another writing: "Meg and Dejon’s families said they need to see more intimacy and cute s**t and Dejon throws out the L bomb on the same night lmfaoooo."
However, despite this - Dejon had previously mentioned to Harry that he was falling in love with Megan, but couldn't yet find the words to say it. Others were all for the declaration of love, as one wrote: "Meg and Dejon are the most genuine couple to ever go on love island."
Elsewhere, The Islanders were back to their old ways during tonight's challenge, as tensions continued to rise during the Couple Goals challenge - putting a dampener on Meg and Dejon's news.
Despite being over the moon when Yas read the text: "Islanders. It’s time to reveal what you really think of each other in today’s challenge, couple goals! #SmilingButJudging #StandOnBusiness," things quickly went downhill.
The challenge, which was hosted by Meg and Dejon saw the pair read out questions which the Islanders will all answer in their couples as they select which couple they believe it applies to most.
Tensions continued to rise when the dreaded question “Which couple is most fake?”, was read out. Once again, things turned awkward, as Harry and Shakira chose Blu and Helena. When giving their reasons, Helena interjected, “That’s a cop out mate.”
They weren't the only ones with the fighting talk, as Meg and Dejon also chose Shakira and Harry, despite Harry being Dejon's best friend in the villa. “I feel like Shakira, you’ve made some very hurtful comments to me that we’re not very nice and I’ve always been there for you," Meg said.
Will the Islanders kiss and make up?
