McFly’s Harry Juddhas said his wife Izzy will be left “in the trenches” with their kids while he is away on tour. The drummer, 39, and podcaster Izzy, 41, have Lola, nine, Kit, eight, and Lockie, three.
When at home, Harry mucks in with the school-run and bath time – but he reveals the family also have a male nanny to help out. He says: “There’s some young actors and actresses where we live who are auditioning for things but also doing other jobs.
“Our manny also works in the pub but he’s able to come over one day a week when Izzy is doing the podcast and I’m in the studio.”

As he gears up tohit the road in a couple of weeks with bandmates Danny Jones,39, Dougie Poynter, 37, and Tom Fletcher, 40, Harry, who has been married for 12 years, says good communication is the secret to making marriage work while apart.
He says: “It’s not an easy thing to do, with buzzwords like ego, sensitive or defensiveness. But dropping your guard and listening is the key.”
McFly lead guitarist Danny faced rumours of marriage woes following a kiss with I’m A Celeb campmate Maura Higgins at the BRIT Awards after party in March. The All About You star then issued a public apology to wife Georgia Horsley, 38, and the pair are back on track.
Of his own relationship, Harry says: “I’m quite sensitive and emotional, but when we get it right we have really good conversations. I know it’s key to having a successful relationship. Any friends that I’ve seen struggle in relationships, it’s about communication.”
As for Izzy, she seems unfazed about Harry being away, saying: “In some ways it’s easier at this stage with the children, because you’re not tied into nap times and those things.”
After one of their kids – they have not revealed which one – was diagnosed as neurodivergent, Izzy set up her podcast Let’s Talk Neurodivergent Kids with Izzy Judd. The couple are also working with Holland & Barrett to promote a family immunity bundle to ward off back-to-school bugs.
Health is important to keen runner Harry as he approaches his 40th birthday in December. He says: “The beer fridge is now less beer and more energy drinks! Me and Dougie are sober, and we all run and exercise. As we get older we need to look after ourselves more so we enjoy the shows more.”
Just last year, speaking candidly to new! magazine, Izzy shared her mixed emotions about expanding their lovely family, saying, "Maybe if I had Lockie a bit sooner, but it's difficult to answer that question because I had IVF with Lola, but my boys came along naturally."
She continued her heartfelt revelation: "Lola was a frozen embryo and we have one more frozen embryo, which I really struggle over." The Escala violinist expressed how many people face such dilemmas after fertility treatments, given the remaining embryos in storage.
She reflected on the profound curiosity of what could have been, admitting, "I suppose you wonder who that might be. They could have chosen that one but we had Lola and you think, 'That could have been Lola'. It's an emotional process."
