India destroyed 9 terrorist hideouts
This attack is the result of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan in recent times. There was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir on 22 April, in which 26 tourists lost their lives. After this, the bitterness in the relations between the two countries has increased further. India took several tough steps in response to this attack, including suspending the Indus Water Treaty and banning the streaming of PSL in Pakistan. But Pakistan suffered the biggest blow when on the night of 7 April, India destroyed 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan.
India's befitting reply
Now India has retaliated by launching drone attacks, this happened when Pakistan tried to attack several cities. According to the Ministry of Defense, on the intervening night of 7 and 8 May, Pakistan tried to attack several military bases in northern and western India including Avantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai and Bhuj using drones and missiles. But India's air defense system foiled them.
