Ajay Devgan's most awaited film Singham Again is going to release soon on Diwali. This action-drama film is directed by Rohit Shetty and Milap Zaveri has written its story. After watching the trailer of Singham Again, fans felt that its story is inspired by Ramayana somewhere, and this plot has been added because of its release on Diwali. But now Milap Zaveri has clarified this and told the real reason behind this story of Ramayana.

How was the plot of Ramayana added to the story of the film?

Milap Zaveri said in a recent interview that the Ramayana plot in Singham Again is not due to Diwali release. He said that the presence of this plot in the film's story is a coincidence, and it has nothing to do with the festival. Actually the film was to be released on 15 August, but due to some reasons its release date was changed to Diwali.

How did the combination of 'Singham Again' and Ramayana happen?

According to Milap, the story started with an idea from Kshitij Patwardhan. He said, "When Kshitij met Rohit Shetty, he already had a brilliant idea - to combine this cop universe of Singham with the plot of Ramayana." He said that Rohit liked this idea very much and from then on, the element of Ramayana was added to its story.

There was no intention to add the Ramayan plot on Diwali

In the interview, Milap clarified that the Ramayana plot was there in the story of the film from the beginning and it had nothing to do with Diwali. He said, "We have not added the Ramayana plot to cash in on Diwali. This part of the story was already in the script, and then this film was not releasing on Diwali."

Coincidence of Diwali release

According to Milap Zaveri, the release date of the film was shifted to Diwali due to the delay in its shooting. He said that it is just a coincidence that the film is now releasing on Diwali and the plot of Ramayana is included in it.

A combination of Rohit Shetty's cop universe and Ramayana

For the first time, a mythological story will be added to the universe of Rohit Shetty's Singham series. The plot of Ramayana adds a special angle to the film, which will give the audience not only action but also a touch of Indian mythology.
