Kim has three PGA Tour wins to his name in his career and finished third at the Masters in 2010 after spending 10 weeks in the top 10 in 2008.
The star also played a key role in the 2008 Ryder Cup as he helped USA win the competition after beating current LIV Golf member Sergio Garcia in the opening match of the Sunday singles.
Kim has of Donald Trump in recent days, with the 78-year-old aiming to win back power as presidential candidate for the Republican Party this year after serving as USA's 45th president between 2017 and 2021.

Kim took aim at Valentina Petrillo in the summer after the Italian athlete became the first transgender person to compete at the Paralympics Games. The sprinter featured in the women's T12 400m for visually impaired runners in Paris.
At the time, Kim (formerly Twitter): "Guy has a d*** and dad to two kids and wants to race women who have worked incredibly hard to compete but we all have to sit here & act like this s*** is normal.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! #mentalillness is no joke. Keep men out of women's sports. #girldad #gratitude #mentalhealth".
Trump is set to go head-to-head with Kamala Harris in the US election on Tuesday, November 5. And it appears he can count on Kim's support, with the golfer writing earlier this week: "Growing up watching TV and hearing about different celebrities, I realised once I started being around them that what the public sees and thinks about someone isn't always true.
"@realdonaldtrump has exceeded my expectations of what it is to be a MAN. While spending time together I saw how he treated everyone including the people I had with me and staff at all his properties. Didn't matter race, age, or either of the two genders.
