M3 traffic: Chaos on major UK motorway after horror crash

A stretch of the M3 in Surrey was closed after a multi-vehicle crash this afternoon (Wednesday, July 30). According to National Highways, emergency services were at the scene.

The motorway was shut westbound between junction 3 for Lightwater and junction 4 for Frimley. There was heavy traffic and motorists were diverted around the closure.
