A celebrity chef jokingly threatened to walk off Saturday Kitchen after a mishap with her name. Presenter and cook Matt Tebbutt introduced the live episode on Saturday morning (October 19) with chefs Sertaç Dirik and Angela Hartnett and special guest Nick Grimshaw.

As Matt went through his list of guests, Matt Tebbutt spoke to radio DJ and Dish podcast host Nick Grimshaw. He admitted he was "hungry" but excited to be on the BBC show alongside his Dish co-host Angela Hartnett.

He added: "I've always wanted to do this when Angie's on", as Matt questioned: "Angie?"

Nick interjected: "No Ange is on. Not Angie, she's not an Angie." Gesturing away from the set, Angela told Matt: "Don't start Matt - I can walk you know!"

Nick laughed and added: "It is live, she can go and she will!"

Shortly after, host Matt turned to a smiling Angela still in the kitchen. He told her: "Now Ange everything you cook is delicious or Angie if you were".

The studio's guests laughed as Matt was warned he was on thin ice. Angela again jokingly gestured she would leave the set but told Matt she would cook an Italian dish called Garganelli , which includes a white sausage ragu in a rich sauce.

The pair made the Italian dish together which included hand rolled Garganelli pasta.

Angela Hartnett and Nick Grimshaw were on together to promote the latest series of their podcast, which sees the pair have a dinner party with special guests every week.

The latest series includes comedian Katherine Ryan, actress Anna Maxwell Martin, host Sandi Toksvig and actor Damian Lewis.

Speaking about how relaxed the podcast is, Nick said: "I think it's like, you know, food such an offering and such a grounder and everyone's got great stories about food they grew up, food that they love or from the kitchen.

"So I think it puts people at ease".

Angela added: "It's at the table and it's great leveler. Sometimes we were saying that some people come on - even the other day, I can't remember who, but they said 'I am getting fed, aren't I?'

"People forget sometimes that, you know, we are actually cooking for them."

Saturday Kitchen airs at 10am on BBC One.
