A desperate rehoming plea has been issued for an 'unwanted' who tragically lost his leg in a horrific incident.
Little Coby was taken in by Miracle's Missions after suffering an injury to one of his front legs in Bosnia - but after undergoing an operation, he is now ready to find his forever home.
Due to his injuries, vets were forced to remove his injured leg and he has been learning how to walk and balance as tri-pawed.
The 10-month-old has been described as a "very active young " who gets on well with children as well as other pets such as cats and dogs.
A statement reads: "He was originally rescued in Bosnia with horrific injuries. He lost a leg and had intensive wound care treatment on his other legs.
"He has however made a very good recovery and is now ready for a home. He lives in foster care in Bosnia in a large house with cats, dogs and children."
Speaking about his perfect type of home, the statement adds: "He has bundles of energy and his rescuer says she will need to go to a very active home with room for him to play outside a lot otherwise he will end up making mischief like any young working breed would."
Sadly, Coby is up against the clock as he needs to leave foster care on April 25 - and will end up in a shelter where he could be forgotten about if an owner doesn't come forward before then.
Commenting on his rehoming post on Facebook, one user said: "Thank you so much for doing what you could for him. I hope that he gets to go to a loving home."
However, this is the only interest he has received so far.
Miracle's Mission is a UK-registered animal welfare charity who work predominantly in the UK, Borneo and Egypt.
A statement reads: "Our mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the needs of neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals onto the streets.
"We also rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need, often with disabilities, from our UK rescue base."
