Ryuta Watanabe, a 36-year-old resident of Hokkaido, Japan, has embraced an unconventional lifestyle, aiming to become the "God of Marriage" after a decade of unemployment. Watanabe, who has not held a job in ten years, currently supports himself through the earnings of his four wives and two girlfriends.Watanabe’s unique family structure consists of common-law marriages, where his partners are recognised as spouses based on their long-term cohabitation and shared responsibilities, despite lacking formal registration. He is a father to ten children, living with two of them and three of his wives, as reported by Japan's Shueisha Online.Taking on the role of a househusband, Watanabe manages household duties such as cooking and childcare. The monthly living expenses for his large household amount to approximately 914,000 yen (around ₹5 lakh), which are collectively covered by his partners. Although Watanabe has a fourth wife who is 24 years old, they are currently estranged.
Watanabe met his girlfriends through social media platforms and began using dating apps after a breakup six years ago that left him feeling depressed. Reflecting on his relationships, he stated earlier this year on the Japanese TV show Abema Prime, "I just love women. As long as we love each other equally, there won't be any problems."In an ambitious twist, Watanabe has expressed his desire to father 54 children, further solidifying his distinct vision of family life. This Japanese 35-Year-Old Man, Watanabe Ryuta, is a Self-Professed Expert When it Comes To Mooching Off His Four Wives & Two Girlfriends!
