Oakland Hills Fire: Evacuations In I-580, Mountain Boulevard And Keller Avenue | VIDEOS

A massive four-alarm fire broke out in the Oakland Hills on Friday. Officials responded to flames on Interstate Highway 580, Mountain Boulevard and Keller Avenue and evacuations were ordered. The fire broke at around 1:30 PM local time, according to the CHP’s Traffic Incident Information page. According to local media reports, over 80 firefighters were on the scene as of 2:30 PM. The fire had spread across eight acres. The CHP, meanwhile, issued a severe traffid alert. Authorities had closed all westbound lanes on I-580. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway.
