Aamir Khan, Salman Khan's cult film 'Andaz Apna Apna' is re-releasing in cinemas on Friday, April 25. There was a special screening of the film kept ahead of the re-release. However, Aamir decided to skip the screening to due to the recent terrorist attacks in Pahalgam. The entire country is quite shaken and heartbroken with this tragic news and many celebs have also expressed their sadness regarding the same. Aamir clarified that he missed the screening as he was deeply affected by this tragic news.'
The actor told Subhash K Jha, “I was reading reports about what happened at Pahalgam in Kashmir. I have been badly affected by the senseless killing of innocents. I was in no state to go (to the preview). I will see it sometime later this week."
Apart from Aamir, many other celebs have expressed their sadness on this incident. Shah Rukh Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his grief and anger/ he wrote, "Words fail to express the sadness and anger at the treachery and inhumane act of violence that has occurred in Pahalgam. In times like these, one can only turn to God and say a prayer for the families that suffered and express my deepest condolences. May we as a Nation, stand united, strong and get justice against this heinous act."
Meanwhile, along with 'Andaz Apna Apna', Emraan Hashmi's 'Ground Zero' is releasing today in theatres, on April 25. The film is based on the real-life operation of Border Security Force (BSF) officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, who led a two-year investigation and mission to capture Ghazi Baba (Rana Tahir Nadeem) in Kashmir, after the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.
