Jammu: At least 12 people including three women were injured after a bus travelling from Udhampur to Jammu met with an accident near Jhajjar Kotli on Saturday morning, police said.
Police said the driver lost control and the bus turned turtle.
A police team, along with locals, began a rescue operation and took the injured passengers to a hospital from where those with severe injuries were referred to Govt Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) at Jammu for treatment.
"The cause of the accident is due to over-speeding. A case has been registered against the bus driver," police said.
