The next high-end Android tablet from OnePlus appears to be just around the corner. A new Geekbench listing has revealed details of an upcoming OnePlus tablet powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, further solidifying earlier rumors that the company is prepping its most powerful tablet yet.

OnePlus Tablet with Model Number OPD2413 Surfaces on Geekbench

According to the benchmark listing, the tablet—bearing the model number OPD2413—was tested with 16GB of RAM and runs Android 15 out of the box. It is widely expected that this device could be the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro, a premium tablet possibly based on the recently launched Oppo Pad 4 Pro in China.

This aligns with an earlier FCC certification for a similar model number (OPD2408), which is likely the global variant of the same tablet. Given that Oppo and OnePlus frequently share and rebrand hardware across markets, the similarities are more than coincidental.

Snapdragon 8 Elite at the Core: A Powerhouse Tablet

If the leaks and benchmark scores are any indication, this will be OnePlus’ most powerful tablet yet, featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (branded Snapdragon 8 Elite)—a processor known for delivering top-tier performance in flagship smartphones. Coupled with up to 16GB of RAM, this device promises exceptional multitasking and high-end gaming capabilities.

Expected Specifications Based on Oppo Pad 4 Pro

While OnePlus has yet to confirm any specs, the following expected hardware details are based on the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, which this tablet is rumored to be modeled after:

  • Display: 13.2-inch LCD, 2400×3392 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits peak brightness

  • Storage: 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.0

  • Rear Camera: 13 MP

  • Front Camera: 8 MP

  • Battery: 12,140 mAh with 67W fast charging

  • OS: Android 15 with OxygenOS (Global) or ColorOS for Pad (China)

These features would place the OnePlus Pad 3 Pro as a strong contender against current Android tablet leaders like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max.

Global Launch Imminent?

While the OPD2413 model is likely intended for the Chinese market, the FCC-approved OPD2408 indicates that OnePlus is preparing a global launch, potentially within the next couple of months. The OnePlus Pad 2 launched in April 2023, so a mid-2025 debut for the Pad 3 Pro fits well within the brand’s usual cadence.

Stay tuned as we await official confirmation and details from OnePlus about the Pad 3 Pro. If the rumors hold true, it could be one of the most capable Android tablets of 2025.
