As temperatures continue to soar across Rajasthan, the regional weather forecast suggests a much-anticipated shift. A fresh western disturbance is expected to influence weather conditions in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota divisions on Saturday, April 26, bringing the possibility of gusty winds and light rainfall. This change could provide short-term relief from the intensifying heatwave gripping large parts of the state.
Western Disturbance to Bring Dust Storms and RainAccording to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a new western disturbance will impact Rajasthan’s weather from April 26. Afternoon hours in Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota may witness cloudy skies, thunderstorm activity, and light showers accompanied by wind speeds reaching 40-50 km/h.
Director of the Meteorological Center, Radheyshyam Sharma, stated that May’s first week could witness increased storm and rain activity due to the combined influence of easterly winds and back-to-back western disturbances. A noticeable drop in temperatures is also expected, likely providing relief from the persistent heatwave conditions.
